Astro Vault
Astro Vault is an Automated Market Maker that removes the need for traditional order books, relying on smart contracts to facilitate trades. It began as a small group of developers on a Telegram channel, offering their platform to users for depositing tokens into liquidity pools, which helped boost APR returns for those tokens.
The Challenge
The community initially began as a small group of developers collaborating to create complex smart contracts that powered the platform. However, scaling to a broader user base proved challenging due to a complicated UI filled with technical jargon that was difficult for most users to understand. Furthermore, while our partners collaborated with us to promote the platform, maintaining consistent branding became problematic. Inconsistencies across both our platform and our partners' social channels made it difficult for the brand message to resonate effectively with users.
My Approach
To address the challenges of scaling and maintaining brand consistency, we will simplify the platform's UI by adopting user-centric design, using plain language, and offering interactive tutorials to guide users. A comprehensive set of brand guidelines will ensure consistency across both our platform and partners’ social channels, supported by a branding kit and regular audits. Improved collaboration with partners through dedicated communication channels, joint campaign planning, and co-branded assets will further enhance alignment. Regular user testing and beta launches with partners’ audiences will help refine the experience and ensure the product resonates with a broader audience.
